Update planners with Agenda and HW
  1. Announcements:
    • Students should stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, then listen QUIETLY to the announcements while they update their planners.
  2. Ch 8 Vocabulary
    1. Hand out to students.
    2. Read through the Ten Words and Context Sentences and discuss.
    3. Students may work together briefly to complete Matching Words on p. 2

  1. "Before Hip-Hop was Hip Hop" Literature Books p. 431-439
    1. Students may work together in groups of no more than 4 to read the story.
    2. Complete the "Reading Check" and "Critical Viewing" questions on pp. 433 and 435.
    3. Complete "Critical Thinking" # 1-4 on p. 439.
    4. Complete "Types of Non-Fiction Review" #1-2 p. 439
